T20 cricket is becoming more popular day by day due to thrillers involved in the format of the game. World Cup 2016 is being hosted by India. The excitement in the tournament is increasing as semi finals will be starting on 30th March 2016. With this as opportunity, would love to post the logo designs of the event and also all the former versions till 2007.
Two of the versions, 2014 and 2012 were designed by Australian company WiteKite. They have specialty for designing event and sports worldwide. Every logo is having standard format of presentation. Tournament name, Hosting country and Year is put at the bottom of the logo. Every logo has ball depicted from the number “0”.

The logo uses the colours of the Bangladesh flag with splashes of blue which represents Bangladesh’s iconic waterways (as well as being the ICC’s own colour). The T is made up of cricket stumps and the 0 in the T20 represents the cricket ball complete with Bangladeshi green seam while the white in the design lends an energetic, friendly and youthful feel to the logo. The event logo also called as Modern Spin. Designed by Australian creative firm Witekite, the logo incorporates and amalgamates the rounded look of the Sinhalese Script. The letter “T” forms a player which leads into the “2” while the “0” incorporates a cricket ball. The colours of the logo, with strong reds and oranges, are seen in both nature and Sri Lankan culture and arts, with their presence in the logo giving them a cricket “spin”. It has a natural sense of movement due to its fluid lines and forward angles. (Source:blackcaps.co.nz)
