Penelope Umbrico

Photographer best known for appropriating images found using search engines and picture sharing websites. She has held many solos and group exhibitions. Also honoured with many awards and grants. Ms Penelope has been teaching photography at many of the world reputed universities and colleges. She works as the faculty member at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Ellen Carey  is an educator, independent scholar, guest curator, photographer and lens-based artist from the USA.
