Photo Poetry Announcement
After awesome response to Photo Poetry on Leaf Silhouette and Photo Poetry Flipbook, I am presenting a second version of Photo Poetry for lovely readers. This is inspired by an attempt in weekly photo challenges Half Light, where I have posted Poetry by Rabindranath Tagore. Request My Lovely Poet Bloggers to try your words on this image of Stray Birds. Thanks in advance and excited about your responses!
Photo Poetry Instructions
- You need to play with words on the given Photo of Stray Birds
- Your poetry must be less than six lines, strictly to follow
- You have to submit the poetry here in comments of this post
- Timeline is 24 hours from the time, when this post is live
- After you submit the poetry, I will convert it into Photo Poetry
- At the end of the 24 hours, poetry flipbook will be published
- Don’t worry! All rights of poetry will be with you only
- This is fun and enjoy it to the fullest!
This time there was slow response but anyways we got Five Entries till now on Stray Birds. I will keep this open for another hour (3:45 pm IST).

I actually didn’t see the theme “stray birds”😁😁. Just by looking the photo, I blabbered something😁. So no prob. I wrote something irrelevant to the theme😁😁.
BTW, zigyasa has written perfectly like always☺👍. Good theme too.

They do stray momentarily to seek new skies
City dwellings do not welcome them happily
Forgotten among the busyness, the stray birds
They have wings to continue their journey
Winds will guide them to stray and have fun

This is a true story about a wild Blue budgie I caught when it was flying wild with the Chick-a-Dee’s in Fall many years ago( I used a cage with seeds in it and a string on the door and sat for about 3 days about 100 ft away till he went in…he wouldn’t of survived the winter…. He lived another 12 yrs..his name was Sam.
Sitting in the garden,wind and wings blow past..
Glimpses of Blue-in the tree down the path.
Living wild and free, but not for long….
I capture you and try to tame… Never do you let me….
Your eye’s were so full of spite and all you did was bite!
