Faces captured in Pandharpur Dindi. Devotees walk down to Pandharpur to reach on Ashadi Ekadashi. Briefed about about Dindi in my earlier post- Pandharpur Yatra. Pandharpur Yatra: Varkari Faces

Pandharpur Yatra (Pilgrimage)

Faces captured in Dindi, pilgrimage to Pandharpur (Lord Vishnu Temple), followed by millions of Varkari (a pilgrim) is a unique aspect of culture in Maharashtra. These Varkaris from all over Maharashtra participates in Dindi every year. They walk, sing, dance and live this festival for about 22 days with full of life. This spiritual happiness creates the environment full of serenity.
