Larry Page Quote on Dreams
You never lose a dream. It just incubates as a hobby.
22 March is celebrated as World Water Day. Love to share the work done by Mr. Aabid Surti and his Drop Dead Foundation. The man is 80+ and still doing this great work to inspire individuals about saving water and starting from a Drop! Great initiative for the cause!

Wish All Mothers a Very Happy Mother’s Day! Tried chalk art on the occasion of the day! This chalk art contains Marathi, Hindi (Devnagari), German, Spanish, Dutch, English, Japanese, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi scripts used to write the most beautiful word in the World.
Time is endless in thy hands, my lord.
There is none to count thy minutes.
Days and nights pass and ages bloom and fade like flowers.
Thou knowest how to wait.
Thy centuries follow each other perfecting a small wild flower.
We have no time to lose,
and having no time we must scramble for a chance.
We are too poor to be late.
And thus it is that time goes by
while I give it to every querulous man who claims it,
and thine altar is empty of all offerings to the last.
At the end of the day I hasten in fear lest thy gate be shut;
but I find that yet there is time.
Chain of Pearls
Mother, I shall weave a chain of pearls for thy neck
with my tears of sorrow.
The stars have wrought their anklets of light to deck thy feet,
but mine will hang upon thy breast.
Wealth and fame come from thee
and it is for thee to give or to withhold them.
But this my sorrow is absolutely mine own,
and when I bring it to thee as my offering
thou rewardest me with thy grace.
Baby’s World
I wish I could take a quiet corner in the heart of my baby’s very
own world.
I know it has stars that talk to him, and a sky that stoops
down to his face to amuse him with its silly clouds and rainbows.
Those who make believe to be dumb, and look as if they never
could move, come creeping to his window with their stories and with
trays crowded with bright toys.
I wish I could travel by the road that crosses baby’s mind,
and out beyond all bounds;
Where messengers run errands for no cause between the kingdoms
of kings of no history;
Where Reason makes kites of her laws and flies them, the Truth
sets Fact free from its fetters.
Half-Light Interesting challenge this time! I had never posted a poem on this blog. This is golden opportunity to post some of the poetry. I don’t have that talent in me hence posting Rabindranath Tagore’s Poem on Stray birds. At least I have many stray birds for this! For more birds photography visit Photolia.

The last day of this week’s challenge which gave me a wonderful opportunity to showcase some hand lettering art here. Posted few works using chalk on the wall, Rangoli Designs through out the week. The last entry for Alphabet which is the inspiring quote in Hindi Lettering. The lines say, “Work is Difficult hence worth Doing, Otherwise ordinary works are done by All”. For more projects on Hand Lettering visit the portfolio page. Also find some interesting photos in my entries to weekly photo challenges.
The hand lettering excercise tries on paper with ink and then trace in photoshop. This agao=in printed on paper. It always inspire me as I pulled it from my father’s design. It says: It worth doing the task which is difficult otherwise, ordinary tasks are done by all. There may be many quotes like this but it inspires me more. I am sure you will find The Artist’s Eye in this.
