Here’s my entry, hope you like it-
An esoteric world
Shines off a glowing orb
Brilliance is mesmerizing
Feelings overflow in every heart
Hoping to replicate the beauty
The night sky teaches one to dream
Glowing example of love and hope
Night’s canvas painted in silver
A dreamer’s paradise
~Amitav

Pale Orb
Moon – you are too faint and far away to warm mine blood
Dull drear thy plumage, lifeless those eyes, cold that heart
Your bland arch of ascent and descent inspires never now
Much time has passed since I last looked fair on your face
Dreams of a lifetime falling around me as I ponder grace
Get gone pale orb that I may behold my only love – Sun.
Robert C Day

darting through the galore of trees,
in the refuge of moon, she set out to be free,
it’s radiance her only trail,
it’s calmness soothing away her pain..

Thanks for this wonderful creation…here is my entry..
Am moonstruck and desire for you, beseech you, do not make me lunatic
Oh..Opal corona of our planet, ellipse and as we seek, you play hide
New to crescent to full, waxing and waning to our heart’s delights,
Wolf, snow, worm, pink, flower, strawberry, buck, sturgeon, harvest, hunter, beaver and cold,
Epithets for the twelve months and sometimes charitable with a blue moon,
Aureole ethereal beauty to the amorous and fanciful!
June 24, 2016 at 10:10 am
I am wordless by experiencing the wealth of words in a short poetry and small photograph! Thanks for submission and great to have in my network!

She reflects upon craters,
Each wrinkle and rille,
A face etched by bombardment
And yet shining still.
Mirror–man walked on the moon.
– C. Green

One man Army!
The only one when vacated,
The world floods in aching.
The only one when dismantled,
The celebration takes a new face.
The only one whose cracks and spots
Are accepted without makeups.
The only granny when glimpsed,
The amok appetite fills in seconds.
Sans you,
June 24, 2016 at 10:31 am

Thank you Vinayak, it does not look like a haiku anymore with the different line lengths. Can you change it to the original haiku format of 5-7-5 as in my original comment? Thank you so much! :o)

In the darker space it revolves round the earth and sun,
From earth it seems like fun,
The one creative is our space,
Which made this beautiful exotic moon & $omeone’s heart burn.

This is such a nice idea! So here’s my attempt (hope I am not late and hope its good 🙂 ):
Oh, dear moon
You are a real boon…
Though you have craters looking like ugly scars
Still visiting us in full glory, you make us gape at you in awe
Teaching an important lesson to the mankind,
You show us how to be confident, regardless of one’s appearance…
June 24, 2016 at 2:26 pm
Time is over as it was only for 24 hours!
I will try to make this possible but cant assure you. It involves conversion to photo poetry and then addition into Flip Book. Your entry is no 11 and I need Even no of entries to include in flip book. Allow some time, I will make a try! Thanks for submission!

My goodness, what a wonderful idea! I have captured the moon and posted it for the Curve challenge. https://simplysage.live/2016/06/20/through-the-years-curve-around-the-world/ Would love to write a poem but alas, the day job beckons me. 😏 I’ll have to pass on the poem this time and try to be ready when you do this again. Lovely idea!
June 24, 2016 at 5:08 pm
Welcome Next time! Nice entries there in CURVE!
June 26, 2016 at 1:08 am
Hey Sunitha, I tried this……..
“When the dusk ropes, you dawn like a smile of hope
Shining brightly like a white pearl, in the black skies as if to unfurl
Playing hide and seek, checking if I would peek
Beneath the silvery bales, beside the twinkling trails
You shrink and stalk as I walk, trotting in the wilderness of my thoughts
I wonder if you could talk, telling me about the mystery of your blots
But then you quietly swell spilling a luminous spell
Across the dark skies every time the night befell! “
June 27, 2016 at 9:15 am
As time is over, I cant make Photo poetry of this. Hence may not be able to include it in Flipbook! Thanks for your submission and interest! Next time please be on time!
